OUR STAFF
DON
Don founded ITopia in 2003 with a vision to redefine how businesses leverage technology to grow, innovate, and thrive. With over 30 years of experience in the IT industry, he brings a deep understanding of emerging technologies, strategic leadership, and a passion for solving complex challenges.
Under his leadership, ITopia has grown from being a smaller IT company that only offered services to businesses around them, to offering our IT expertise to businesses all over Alberta. Don is known for customer-first mindest, and continues to drive the company’s mission of delivering scalable, secure, and future-ready solutions.
Before founding ITopia, he held leadership roles at previous company, where he was the manager of Western Canada. Don holds a degree in Computer Technology from NAIT.
Outside of work, Don enjoys spending his time at the cabin looking for projects to do around the property, and is actively involved in volunteer work for multiple organizations around Langdon and Calgary.
RYAN
Ryan is a Service Desk Assistant at Itopia, where he leads our license procurements for all of our clients. With over 10 years of experience in the IT industry, he brings deep expertise in Microsoft 365.
Known for comunicating and being a main source of information, Ryan plays a key role in handling a majority of our bigger clients IT problems. Ryan has been working for ITopia for just over 7 years now.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys going camping with his family and watching hockey, which makes him one of our leaders.
MICHELE
Michele is our Service Desk Manager at ITopia where she specialize in handling all our clients billing, project proposals and any accounting or finance operations. With over 5 years of experience in the IT industry, she brings deep expertise in management of the company.
Known for being organized, sharp minded and time-oriented, Michele plays a key role in project management, team contributions and organization.
Outside of work, Michele enjoys mountain biking, being outdoors and gardening which makes her the best fit for her role.
GEORGIA
Georgia is our Sales and Marketing Representative at ITopia, where she specialize in social media and handling the sales side of the business. With just under a year of experience in the IT industry, she brings deep expertise in engagement with clients and bringing in more leads.
Known for being organized and outgoing, Georgia plays a key role in client engagement and marketing the business to potential clients. Georgia has over 5 years of sales and marketing experience.
Outside of work, Georgia enjoys playing volleyball, coaching and hanging out with friends and family which makes her a true team player.
Fun Fact: She played 3 years of post-secondary volleyball at Olds College
DARCY
Darcy is one of our Service Desk Assistants at ITopia, where he specializes in restoring computers and upgrading software. With over 15 years of experience in the IT industry, brings deep expertise in Apple technology and Intel software.
Known for being reliable and efficient, Darcy plays a key role in managing our service desk. Darcy has been with this company for over 5 years now.
Outside of work, Darcy enjoys spending time with his daughter and restoring Mac computers, which makes him a great fit for our clients who prefer to use Apple.
ROD
Rod is also one of our Service Desk Assistants at ITopia, where he specializes in software. With over 20 years of experience in the IT industry, he brings deep expertise in software development and management.
Known for being a problem solver, Rod plays a key role in helping our team and clients with any software problems they may be having. Rod has been working at this company for over 15 years.
Outside of work, Rod enjoys going to Lake Ontario and fishing. He also enjoys watching hockey and the CFL

DAVID
David is one of our Service Desk Assistants at ITopia, where he specialize in client visits. With over 4 years of experience in the IT industry, he brings deep expertise in software development/ management and SOPHOS products
Known for being quick on his feet, David plays a key role in looking for new and efficient ways to upgrade our rural clients technology. David has been working at ITopia for 3 years now.
Outside of work, David enjoys working on older cars, robotics and autocross which makes him really handy when it comes to site visits.
SCOTT
Scott is a Service Desk Assistant at ITopia, where he specializes in our email signature solution. With over 8 years of experience in the IT industry, he brings deep expertise in CodeTwo Signatures.
Known for creativity and attention to detail, Scott plays a key role in communicating our clients needs to our team and developing a plan. Scott has worked for this company for 3 years now.
Outside of work, Scott enjoys hanging out with his wife and kids, which makes him great for connecting to our clients.
ZSOLT
Zsolt is a Service Desk Assistant at ITopia, where they specialize in our WordPress solution. With over 5 years of experience in the IT industry, he brings deep expertise in designing and updating websites.
Known for being creative and thinking outside the box, Zsolt plays a key role in managing our clients websites to make sure they work properly. Zsolt has been working at this company for just over a year now.
